Privacy Policy & Offline Guarantee

Your confidential payroll records stay on your device.

The Core Privacy Guarantee: Salary Slip Generator by SolveItByTech processes all payslip data directly in your web browser. We do not upload, store, transmit, or sell your employee or payroll information. There are no backend databases or API endpoints storing your records.

1. Client-Side Execution

Unlike traditional web applications where form data is submitted to a remote server for processing and PDF generation, Salary Slip Generator by SolveItByTech operates entirely on the client side using modern JavaScript and WebAssembly APIs:

  • PDF Generation: Created directly in your browser memory via jsPDF and html2canvas.
  • Calculations: Gross earnings, deductions, net salary, and number-to-words formulas run strictly on your local CPU.
  • Image Processing: Uploaded company logos are resized and compressed locally using an HTML5 Canvas element.

2. How LocalStorage is Used

To prevent data loss if your browser tab is refreshed or closed, Salary Slip Generator by SolveItByTech utilizes your browser's standard localStorage API. This allows you to:

  • Autosave your current active payslip draft.
  • Save multiple employee payslips in your private “My Payslips” list.
  • Remember your custom styling preferences (such as primary accent color or logo size).

This data exists exclusively within your browser profile on your personal device. It is never synced to external cloud servers. You can clear your stored drafts at any time using the “Reset” button or by clearing your browser cache.

3. Analytics & Monetization

We believe in strict data isolation. We do not pass user-entered payroll details (such as employee names, salaries, bank account numbers, or PAN numbers) to analytics or third-party trackers.

To keep this tool 100% free for everyone, we display non-intrusive advertisements from Google AdSense in designated, reserved containers on the page. These advertisements are isolated from the generator and never appear inside your payslip preview, printed documents, or downloaded PDFs.

4. Your Responsibility

Because your data is stored locally on your device, anyone with physical or administrative access to your computer or browser profile may be able to view locally cached drafts. When using shared or public workstations, we strongly recommend clicking “Reset Payslip” and clearing browser cache upon completing your work.
