No. The application is built with an offline-first, client-side only architecture. All data processing, mathematical calculations, and PDF rendering happen in your local browser memory. No employee names, salaries, or bank details are ever transmitted to our servers.
How does offline mode work?
Salary Slip Generator by SolveItByTech is a Progressive Web App (PWA). When you visit the site, static assets are securely cached by a Service Worker. After that initial load, you can disconnect your Wi-Fi or go offline and still generate, edit, and download payslips seamlessly.
Can I add custom earnings and allowances?
Yes. You can add as many custom earning lines as required (such as Dearness Allowance, Conveyance, Medical Allowance, Overtime, Commission, or Internet Allowance). Gross earnings calculate automatically in real time.
Can I add custom deductions?
Yes. You can add unlimited deduction items including Provident Fund (PF), Professional Tax (PT), Income Tax (TDS), ESI, Loan Repayments, or Advance Salary deductions.
Can I add custom employee fields?
Yes! By clicking "+ Add Another Field", you can create unlimited custom fields for any detail you wish to display on the payslip, such as Department, Designation, PAN, UAN, Bank Account, Location, or Date of Joining.
Can I upload my company logo?
Yes. You can drag and drop or upload PNG, JPG, or WebP logos under 1 MB. Large images are automatically compressed in your browser canvas for optimal PDF rendering.
What happens if I refresh the page? Will I lose my data?
Your work is automatically saved locally to your browser localStorage as you type. If you accidentally close or refresh the tab, your draft will be right there when you return.
Can I create and manage multiple payslips?
Yes. Our "My Payslips" draft manager allows you to save multiple employee payslips locally on your device, duplicate existing drafts, switch between months, and delete old drafts.
